Russian House at Cornell University

Twenty eight students of the first year Russian from Cornell, Syracuse University, Binghamton University, Hobart and William Smith, Hamilton College, Union College and US Military Academy competed in the New York State Russian Olympiada 2004 which was held on April 3rd at Syracuse University. The winner was decided by the overall best score in four contests: speaking, reading, poetry recital and grammar.

The winners are:
Susan Moskwa (Cornell) - First Place
Brett Greenspan (Hamilton College) - Second Place
Alec Rivers (Cornell) - Third Place

After the contest all participants enjoyed their obed together. Well, it was not a lunch and was not a dinner, either...
