Russian Language Courses and the Language Requirement
The College of Arts and Sciences foreign language requirement is explained in a number of College Web pages, e.g. under Degree Requirements (scroll down to About the language requirement).
The Russian Language Program offers these courses for satisfying the A & S language requirement:

Under Option 1:
  • any 3-credit/unit (or more) RussA course numbered 2203 (RussA 2203) and above, but not RussA 3300 (Directed Study)
Under Option 2 (11 credit hours minimum):
  • Any combination of these RussA courses that adds to at least 11 credits/units:
    • 1103 (2 cr.)
    • 1104 (2 cr.)
    • 1121 (4 or 5 cr.)
    • 1122 (4 or 5 cr.)
    • 1131 (2 or 3 cr.)
    • 1132 (2 or 3 cr.)
    • 2203 (4 cr.)
To read the course descriptions and syllabi for any of these courses, please click a course under Current classes or under Courses: "Courses in the Fall" or "Courses in the Spring." Please note that 1103 and 1104 can be taken simultaneously with 1121, 1122, 1131, and 1132.
