Russian Language Courses and the Language Requirement
The College of Arts and Sciences foreign language requirement is explained in a number of College Web pages,
e.g. under Degree Requirements (scroll down to About the language requirement).
The Russian Language Program offers these courses for satisfying the A & S language requirement:
Under Option 1:
- any 3-credit/unit (or more) RussA course numbered 2203 (RussA 2203) and above, but not RussA 3300 (Directed Study)
Under Option 2 (11 credit hours minimum):
- Any combination of these RussA courses that adds to at least 11 credits/units:
- 1103 (2 cr.)
- 1104 (2 cr.)
- 1121 (4 or 5 cr.)
- 1122 (4 or 5 cr.)
- 1131 (2 or 3 cr.)
- 1132 (2 or 3 cr.)
- 2203 (4 cr.)

Please note that 1103 and 1104 can be taken simultaneously with 1121, 1122, 1131, and 1132.
