Gennadiy N. Lepeshkin: This supposed disaster or accident occurred on April 4, 1979. By the fifth, the Voice of America had already reported that a disaster had had taken place in Sverdlovsk. And the first clinical diagnosis stating that there was proof that it was the anthrax agent was not made until the tenth or the twelfth of April. Which means that somehow, American intelligence... or maybe it was done on purpose, announced to the entire world that there had been a disaster at the plant in Sverdlovsk. The event took place on the fourth, and by the fifth it had already been reported. Whereas the first diagnosis was not made until... the confirmed diagnosis was made nearly ten days later. Does U.S. intelligence really work that well?
