If a name ends in a vowel other than -a, it is indeclinable (the same is true of place names, names of institutions, etc.):

If the last name of a woman ends in a consonant, the name is indeclinable:
профљссор Смќт (woman) о профљссоре Смќт
If a man's last name ends in a consonant, it is a #-declension noun:
