G.N. Lepeshkin: When I started sensing it, I gathered my experts together and said: "Guys, soon the whole research project will be over, and all the operations will be shut down. We should use the time that's left to rework our interesting results in the form of dissertations." I began writing a doctoral dissertation myself at the time, I was working on that. Meanwhile, I made my scientists work on candidate dissertations. And within a year we finished everything, wrote up all the documents, completed all the necessary materials and defended, a year later defended the dissertations. I defended the doctoral one, and they defended the candidate dissertations. There were brief intervals in between, but we finished everything we wanted to.
