Lepeshkin: The biological weapons issue is now out of date: it is no longer of interest to anyone. The only people working on it are journalists and historians, who want to reconstruct the chronology of events related to something which we will now never have and never see.
The same is true of chemical weapons. The international community is now addressing important issues of a different sort: how to deter development of those very areas as part of... part of the non-proliferation regime, so that terrorists can't take advantage of all this know-how and whatnot. Major political parties, organizations and states--they crossed these weapons off their lists a long, long time ago.
