Уши Иванова торчали из-под шапки. Ivanov's ears stuck out from under his hat.
Петины уши постоянно беспокоили родителей. Petya's ears always worried his parents.
NB When the word ухо (or уши) functions as a subject and does not have a descriptive modifier, the construction ухо у + Genitive is often preferred to (a) and (b), above:
Уши у Иванова торчали из-под шапки. Ivanov's ears stuck out from under his hat.

Restrictive modifiers

(a) adjectival modifier
левое/правое ухо the left/right ear
У меня левое ухо болит. My left ear aches.
