NB Irregular in phrases за` ногу, за` ноги "by the leg(s)/foot/feet," etc.; на` ногу, на` ноги "to/onto one's leg(s)/foot/feet,"; сидеть нога за` ногу (or нога на` ногу) "to sit with one's legs crossed"; закинуть ногу за` ногу (or ногу на` ногу) "to cross one's legs"; переступать (or переминаться) с ноги` на` ногу "to shift from one foot to the other"; бросить по`д ноги "to throw something at one's feet," смотреть по`д ноги "to look down at one's feet (usually, while walking)."
