Ступнќ дљвушки бІли мђленькие и џзкие. The girl's feet were small and narrow.
Ступнї её сќльно распџхла. Her foot was badly swollen.
NB When the word ступнї functions as a subject and does not have a descriptive modifier, the construction ступнї у + Genitive is often preferred to (a) and (b), above:
Ступнќ у дљвушки бІли мђленькие и џзкие. The girl's feet were small and narrow.

(a) adjectival modifier
(b) noun phrase: Adj + Genitive of ногђ
лљвая/прђвая ступнї the left/right foot
Лљвая ступнї у неё распџхла и сќльно болљла. Her left foot was swollen and very sore.
