NB When the word кќсть functions as a subject and does not have a descriptive modifier, the construction кќсть у + Genitive (or Кќсти рџк + Genitive) is often preferred to (a) and (b), above:
Кќсти у Пљти бІли худІе, тћнкие. Petya's hands were lean and slight.
