This entry is concerned with the use of the word бородђ denoting hair on the lower part of the face for humans and some animals, e.g. goats. Common sense will dictate which of the expressions in this entry can or cannot be used to refer to animals. In colloquial, very familiar speech the word бородђ is used figuratively to denote a man with a beard, as a form of address: Јй, бородђ, посторонќсь! "Hey, you with the beard! Get out of the way!"
