G.N. Lepeshkin: I am not such a notable individual that I would leave some mark in history. I can only live on in the memories of my friends, my relatives, my loved ones. As to what I was like and what I did. What I did that was useful to particular people. That's roughly how it should be. I am not some outstanding figure who drove some big, who made big scientific discoveries. I did my job, which was topped off, perhaps, by some scientific documents, papers, scientific ones, that will live on after me. But otherwise, I think that's enough. If everybody did things and worked the way I did – I think I worked well in many areas – then life in our country would be much better.
