Andrew Weber: And I was working on political military affairs, and in particular the de-nuclearization of Kazakhstan, and just dealing with the legacy of weapons of mass destruction from the collapse of the Soviet Union, in particular the uncertainty, even chaos, that made some of the scientists who had been involved in these weapons programs very vulnerable to proliferating their skills to other countries that were pursuing these types of weapons, like biological weapons.
