Anne Harrington: And especially when you got to 1998, and the financial collapse, and, you know, that many people at that point felt, "well, what was this great experiment all about? A few people got rich, and the rest of us ended up with nothing. So how is that different from the Soviet period, when a few people were rich and most everybody else had nothing?"
